I am a freelance London-based sound designer, engineer and recordist. Although primarily for theatre, my work extends to other mediums such as dramatic podcasts and art installations, often incorporating binaural sound techniques.

I have a particular interest in devised work, creating theatre organically during the rehearsal process and exploring the possibilities of marrying sound operation to live performance.

I was previously a member of the National Theatre's Sound & Video department, for over a decade. I worked within all the venue's spaces in a variety of roles and with a wide range of directors, sound designers and musicians, including: Complicite, Katie Mitchell, Rufus Norris, Gareth Fry, Paul Arditti, Matthew Herbert, Goldfrapp and Cerys Matthews.
